Governance Structure
The Central Securities Depository (GH) Ltd (CSD) is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors, appointed by the shareholders: Bank of Ghana (BoG) and Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE). The governance structure includes the following committees:
- Finance and Audit Committee
- Business Conduct Committee
- Human Resource and Legal Committee
- Risk Committee
Board meetings are generally held quarterly, with extraordinary meetings held when necessary. The Board is responsible for reviewing and approving policies for implementation by the Executive Management Team.
The Executive Management Team consists of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Deputy CEO, supported by four departments:
- Finance and Administration
- IT Department
- Operations Department
- Data Analytics and Risk Management.
The Board is also assisted by the Internal Auditor and a Legal Officer, who provides legal services and doubles as the Company Secretary.
